We’re proud to announce the launch of Osborne Architects, a new practice created with one clear purpose: to deliver pragmatic, design-led architecture for the housing sector.

Our work is rooted in the reality of development – balancing quality, cost and deliverability – because we know that our clients, whether housing associations, developers or contractors, need a partner they can trust to get projects built. We bring together design skill with a deep understanding of planning, building control and the wider consultant team, making us a safe pair of hands from feasibility through to delivery.

But while pragmatism is at the core of what we do, we also believe that housing deserves ambition. Every so often, a site demands more – a landmark scheme that sets a tone for its place. We relish those moments too, and we have the design experience to rise to that challenge.

Osborne Architects was founded to bridge the gap we often see in the market: firms that are either technically focussed, or highly creative but disconnected from the realities of delivery. We sit firmly in the middle ground, combining commercial awareness with thoughtful design.

This is the start of a long journey. Our ambition is clear – to grow into one of the UK’s most capable housing-focused practices, building a team that can deliver both at scale and at quality. Over the next decade, we aim to become a top architecture company, known for housing that works: for residents, for communities, and for those who fund and build it.
